33 percent of occupational accidents occur in construction. In order to prevent occupational accidents, new standards are being brought to construction. Stating that they have started a new project on this issue, Kasım Özer, Director of Occupational Health and Safety at the Ministry of Labor, is developing the standard of edge railing of "Turkish Standards Institution (TSE)". He will also publish the new standards for the closure of elevator shafts and stair gaps. He signed a protocol in the middle of this year and said, "We will launch a campaign for the second security project".
